The TCRT5000L 5 Channel Tracking Sensor Module utilizes the TRCT5000 infrared reflection sensor, making it an excellent choice for creating line-tracking smart cars. This module features an infrared emitting diode that continuously emits infrared rays. When these rays encounter an object, they are reflected back and detected by the infrared receiver, producing an analog output.
The analog values generated by the sensor are influenced by both the distance and color of the detected object, enabling precise tracking. By analyzing the analog outputs from the five sensors, the module can effectively determine the position of a tracking line.
