WCS1700 Hall Current Sensor with Over Current Protection

The WCS1700 Hall Current Sensor provides a cost-effective and precise solution for measuring both DC and AC currents in a variety of settings, including industrial, commercial, and communication systems. Its design allows for easy integration into existing setups without disrupting their operation, making current sensing both straightforward and practical.

This sensor comes in a compact package with a 9.0mm diameter through-hole. Users can pass their system’s electric wire through this hole to measure the current, allowing for seamless integration and accurate monitoring without altering the original system layout.

The WCS1700 is equipped with a low-temperature drift linear Hall sensor IC and built-in temperature compensation, ensuring consistent performance across different conditions. As current flows through the hole, it creates a magnetic field detected by the Hall IC, which converts it into a proportional voltage signal. This makes the WCS1700 well-suited for applications such as motor control, load detection and management, over-current fault detection, and advanced power management systems.
