The TTP224 4-way Touch Switch Module employs advanced capacitive sensing technology, allowing for a responsive and reliable touchpad interface. Designed specifically for touchpad control, this device features a four-finger-sized touchpad that enables intuitive user interaction. It includes a configurable jumper arrangement, providing flexibility in keypress output modes—offering options for Timed or Toggle operation, as well as Active High or Active Low signals. Users can easily adjust the response time of the pressed key to suit their needs, with options for a quick 60ms fast mode or a more power-efficient 160ms low-power mode.
The board is equipped with six pin headers on the output side, where four pins connect seamlessly to the digital I/O of popular microcontroller platforms like Arduino and ARM STM32. Additionally, it includes four surface-mount device (SMD) status LEDs that illuminate to indicate the status of each key press, enhancing user feedback. The TTP224 is ideal for applications in Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) and can effectively replace mechanical buttons, offering a modern, sleek design while improving reliability and durability in various electronic projects.
