Raindrops Detection Sensor Module

The Raindrops Detection Sensor Module is designed for rain detection and measuring rainfall intensity. It is widely used in weather monitoring systems and can convert rainfall data into output signals, including both digital and analog outputs. This sensor module is compatible with platforms such as Arduino, making it a versatile tool for various applications.

The sensor consists of two main parts: a rain detection board and a control board. The rain detection board collects raindrops, which create parallel resistance paths on the circuit. These changes in resistance are measured by the operational amplifier (op-amp) on the control board. When more water accumulates on the board, the resistance decreases, leading to a lower voltage output. Conversely, when there is less water, the resistance increases, resulting in a higher voltage output. For example, when the board is completely dry, the output voltage will be 5V.

Additionally, the module includes a power indicator LED to show its operational status and a potentiometer to adjust the sensitivity of the sensor. The module uses the LM393 op-amp for its functionality, ensuring stable and accurate performance. This rain sensor is ideal for monitoring weather conditions and can be integrated into a variety of projects where rainfall detection is required, offering both fixed output and analog signals for a range of applications.
