The 7Semi ADS1263 32-Bit ADC with PGA Breakout is a professional-grade, high-precision analog-to-digital conversion solution engineered for applications where accuracy, stability, and low noise are critical. Built around the Texas Instruments ADS1262, this breakout module delivers industry-leading performance for precision measurement systems such as weigh scales, strain-gauge sensors, thermocouples, pressure sensors, and RTDs.
At the core of the module is a 32-bit delta-sigma ADC that provides ultra-low noise and minimal offset drift, enabling highly stable and repeatable measurements even in demanding environments. The onboard programmable gain amplifier (PGA) allows flexible signal scaling, making it possible to directly interface with low-level sensor outputs without external amplification. An integrated precision voltage reference further enhances measurement consistency and simplifies system design.
The ADS1263 breakout supports a wide data rate range from 2.5 samples per second (SPS) up to 38,400 SPS, allowing designers to balance resolution and speed according to application requirements. In addition to the primary 32-bit ADC, the module features a secondary 24-bit auxiliary delta-sigma ADC, enabling simultaneous background measurements such as temperature monitoring or reference diagnostics without interrupting main data acquisition.
Advanced features like a single-cycle settling digital filter reduce latency during channel switching, while comprehensive fault monitoring improves system reliability by detecting open sensors, short circuits, and reference errors. The inclusion of dual programmable sensor excitation current sources makes the module especially well-suited for direct RTD and resistive sensor measurements, eliminating the need for external current sources.
With its compact breakout form factor and robust feature set, the 7Semi ADS1263 ADC module is ideal for industrial instrumentation, laboratory equipment, medical devices, and high-end embedded measurement systems requiring exceptional precision and long-term stability.
