The KY-026 Flame Sensor Module detects flames within the 760 – 1100nm wavelength range, offering high sensitivity to small flames up to 0.8 meters away and a 60-degree detection angle. It features an LM393 operational amplifier that allows for sensitivity adjustment via a potentiometer. This module provides both digital and analog outputs, making it versatile for different applications.
Based on the YG1006 sensor, the KY-026 is ideal for use in firefighting robots and other flame detection systems. When a flame is detected, it activates an LED indicator and sets the D0 pin to a LOW state. The analog output delivers real-time voltage readings, while the digital output simplifies integration with microcontrollers. The adjustable sensitivity allows users to set precise temperature thresholds, enhancing the module’s effectiveness across various environments and applications.
