This IIC/I2C Serial Interface Adapter Module (Made in India) connects LCD displays to microcontrollers via the I2C protocol. RoHS compliant, it supports standard 16×2 or 20×4 character LCD modules that use 4-bit mode, ensuring compatibility with most commercially available modules.
The board uses a PCF8574 I2C chip to convert I2C serial data into parallel data, making it easier to connect LCDs to microcontrollers like Arduino. You can find many online resources and tutorials by searching “Arduino LCD PCF8574” for guidance.
The default I2C address of this module is 0x3F, but it can be changed using three solder jumpers on the board. This feature allows you to control up to three LCD displays from a single I2C bus, each with its own address.
