This module supports two communication modes: 8-bit parallel and SPI interface.

In 8-bit mode, you’ll need 8 data lines plus 4–5 control lines, providing fast performance for applications where speed is crucial.

In SPI mode, only 5 pins are required (MISO, MOSI, SCK, CS, and D/C), making it ideal for projects with limited I/O pins. However, SPI is slightly slower compared to 8-bit mode.
The breakout board design makes integration easy. One side provides SPI connections, while the other supports 8-bit communication. The module is compatible with both 3V and 5V logic levels, thanks to onboard high-speed level shifters, ensuring seamless use with popular microcontrollers like Arduino, ESP32, STM32, and Raspberry Pi.
Additionally, the display features an onboard MicroSD card socket, allowing you to store and display images directly from a memory card when using SPI mode.
