Description

The TTGO T-Beam V1.1 ESP32 LoRa 433MHz WiFi Bluetooth module is a versatile wireless development board designed for IoT, smart devices, and long-range communication projects. With LoRa 433MHz support, integrated WiFi, and Bluetooth connectivity, this board provides reliable and low-power communication over extended distances, making it ideal for smart agriculture, remote monitoring, sensor networks, and other IoT applications.

This module features an unsoldered 18650 battery holder and an IPEX connector for LoRa antennas, offering flexibility for portable, battery-powered projects. Developers can customize their setup by adding their own 18650 Li-ion batteries for extended operation without worrying about wired power sources.

The TTGO T-Beam V1.1 comes equipped with 26-pin headers, providing access to multiple functionalities, including GPIO, ADC, DAC, VP/VN, touch, SPI, I2C, UART, 2 LoRa pins, and standard power signals (5V, 3.3V, and GND). This wide range of I/O options makes it easy to interface with sensors, actuators, displays, and other peripheral devices.

Additionally, the board has two onboard buttons: one dedicated to power control, and the second connected to GPIO39 on the ESP32, which can be programmed for custom input actions. This allows developers to create user interactions, reset functions, or trigger specific events directly from the hardware.

Powered by the ESP32 microcontroller, the TTGO T-Beam V1.1 supports dual-core processing, WiFi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and a rich ecosystem of libraries and development tools. Whether you’re building LoRa-based IoT projects, remote sensors, wearable devices, or smart home systems, this module provides a compact, powerful, and flexible solution.

With its combination of wireless communication options, battery support, multiple I/O headers, and robust ESP32 performance, the TTGO T-Beam V1.1 is an essential choice for engineers, hobbyists, and makers looking to develop reliable, long-range, wireless IoT solutions.

Pin Description

  • The board is built around a dual-core ESP32 chip, with 4MB of SPI flash onboard, providing both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE via a 3D antenna on the PCB.
  • The boards LoRa support comes in three different variants, operating at 433MHz, 868MHz, and 915MHz depending on region, with an included SMA antenna. While location tracking is provided by the onboard u-Blox NEO-6M GPS module with a ceramic antenna.
  • The board can be programmed using the Arduino development environment, and theexample codeshows you how to both send and receive data via LoRa.
  • Flipping the board over there is a battery holder fora 18650 Li-Ion cell, and while a 18650 sort of looks like a standard AA battery, its significantly different. So dont makethe mistakeof substituting in the more common AA battery to try and power the board. Theyre not quite the same size, but Ive seen people attempt this substitution nonetheless.

Features

  • Highly configurable data packet processing program, the configuration parameter data can be saved in EEPROM.
  • ERP32 with the new version REV1 supports wireless Internet access and wireless Bluetooth connection.
  • Designated module with ceramic antenna and super signal, supports automatic gain control and automatic frequency correction.
  • GPS With the help of a global positioning system, GPS module NEO-6M, 3V-5V universal power supply.
  • It also has a digital RSSI function, RF wake-up function,
  • 4MB flash memory,
  • Low voltage detection, and temperature sensor,
  • Fast wake-up and frequency hopping LED signal indicator, and battery with data backup.
