SW-420 Normally Closed Alarm Vibration Sensor Module

The SW-420 Vibration Sensor  module, designed as a Normally Open type, utilizes the SW-420 vibration sensor in conjunction with the LM393 comparator to effectively monitor vibrations beyond a set threshold. This threshold can be easily adjusted using an onboard potentiometer, allowing users to customize sensitivity based on their specific application needs.

In its idle state, when no vibrations are detected, the module outputs a logic LOW signal, which activates a green LED indicator. This visual cue signifies that the sensor is at rest. Conversely, when vibrations occur, the switch opens momentarily, resulting in a change of output to a HIGH level, causing the green LED to turn off.

This module can be seamlessly integrated with a microcontroller, enabling it to detect these high or low signal levels. This feature is particularly useful for applications that require real-time monitoring of environmental vibrations, triggering alarm functions or notifications when excessive movement is detected, thereby enhancing safety and security measures.

Connection:

• VCC: Connect the positive power supply
• GND: Connect to the negative power supply
• DO: The digital signal output
