The MSP-EXP430FR2433 LaunchPad™ Development Kit is a compact, cost-effective evaluation platform designed for engineers and developers working with MSP430FR2433 Value Line Sensing microcontrollers. Ideal for both beginners and experienced embedded developers, this LaunchPad offers a seamless way to get started with ultra-low-power embedded applications.
Powered by the MSP430FR2433 MCU, this board is based on Ferroelectric RAM (FRAM) technology, delivering fast write speeds, high endurance, and low power consumption—perfect for battery-powered and energy-harvesting applications. The integrated onboard eZ-FET debug probe enables easy programming, real-time debugging, and energy consumption measurement without requiring additional tools.
With two programmable buttons and two user LEDs, the MSP-EXP430FR2433 board allows quick prototyping and custom user interfaces. Additionally, it includes headers for BoosterPack™ plug-in modules, extending the board’s functionality for wireless communication, sensors, and display add-ons.
One of the most notable features is support for supercapacitor backup power, offering an alternative to traditional batteries. This feature allows developers to build stand-alone, rechargeable systems for smart sensing and industrial monitoring applications.
