The Nano V3.0 ATmega328P is an Arduino-compatible 5V development board featuring a 16MHz CH340 Type-C microcontroller in a compact, complete package. It offers similar functionality to the Arduino but in a smaller form factor, with the main difference being the absence of a DC power jack and the use of a Mini USB (Mini-B) connector instead of a standard USB connector. It supports Arduino programs and the Arduino IDE. This Nano version uses the CH340G USB interface controller and can be powered through the Mini-B USB connection, a 6-20V unregulated external power supply (pin 30), or a 5V regulated external power supply (pin 27), with automatic selection of the highest voltage source.
What is the CH340?
The CH340 is a USB bus conversion chip that provides USB to UART or USB to printer interface functionality. In serial UART mode, it supports common MODEM signals, allowing the expansion of UART interfaces or direct USB connectivity for serial devices.
