Available on select C2000™ Real-Time Control Microcontrollers (MCUs), FSI provides low-cost, reliable data transfer with fewer signal lines compared to traditional serial peripherals.
Designed for low latency, FSI is ideal for transmitting time-critical data between devices, enabling new system topologies and decentralized processing, sensing, and actuation in advanced control systems. With built-in compatibility for isolation devices, FSI ensures high-speed communication between the “hot” (high-voltage) and “cold” (low-voltage) sides of a system, enhancing safety and design flexibility.
