The HC-08 Bluetooth UART communication module is an advanced wireless data transmission solution built on the Bluetooth V4.0 BLE (Low Energy) protocol. Operating in the globally accepted 2.4GHz ISM frequency band, the HC-08 utilizes GFSK modulation to deliver stable, low-power, and interference-resistant communication. Designed for modern IoT and embedded applications, this module provides a maximum transmit power of 4dBm and an impressive receiving sensitivity of –93dBm, enabling reliable data transmission even in challenging environments. Under open and unobstructed conditions, the HC-08 can maintain long-distance connectivity up to 80 meters, making it compatible with devices such as the iPhone 4s and many other BLE-enabled products.
At the core of the HC-08 is the powerful Texas Instruments CC2540 chip, equipped with 256K bytes of onboard memory. This allows developers to store larger configurations and ensures smooth, efficient communication. The module supports a flexible set of AT commands, enabling users to easily modify its operating role, UART baud rate, device name, advertising interval, and other essential parameters. This adaptability makes integration simple for both beginners and advanced developers.
