Built around the CSR BC4 chipset, the HC-06 supports Bluetooth V2.0 + EDR, ensuring stable and fast communication for various DIY and industrial applications. The module includes a built-in 3.3V voltage regulator, allowing you to power it safely from 3.6V to 6V inputs. Essential pins—VCC, GND, TXD, RXD—are broken out for easy integration with breadboards and microcontroller projects.
